Slimefoot, we need to have an intervention, you are hurting the people around you.

----

Okay so, you may or may not have noticed, the pages are coloured digitally now. This is the second digital colours one.

Reasons:
-Time, it's quicker
-Money, it's cheaper

We're trying to not make it look toooo different from the other pages, but it's never gonna look 100% the same as it did.

Little does everyone know, Algae's hair is hiding a pair of earbuds. He's probably been listening to some books on tape this whole time.

I can't tell that much difference in the coloring techniques. I suppose the gouache gave it a bit more texture, but I think the inking style does plenty of that already. Still looks great.

I think it's harder to tell with the yellow page than the purple one, but this is really a better option and we should've started doing this sooner :P

(Also means we don't need to buy watercolour paper for it anymore, which also means it's easier to do the inking on the paper - watercolour paper sucks pens dryyyy so fast)

MWHAHAHAHA, I think it's probably more obvious if you are flicking through the pages in a large chunk instead of just when a page comes out.

:D Thanks, we are quite happy with how it's turned out!

I really like the layout and the background linework in panel 1: those fat horizontal strokes and thin vertical strokes really bring that wilderness to life, and the perspective seems both dynamic and perceptually correct!

Thank You! Sometimes I worry that the backgrounds of the forest-y outdoor scenes are too vaguely drawn, but your feedback is reassuring.

Digital looks really good:) Barely even noticed!
What kind of art supplies were you using before though?

Watercolour paper, pens (they say they are "pigment ink"), gouche paint - then did the words digitally anyway.

That's pretty much it.

This is digital coloring? Well damn, would have fooled me! The nuances aren't as pronounced anymore, but with the paper texture and the inks, it's hard to tell unless you really scrutinize it. Anyway, great job!

I think it's going to be more obvious on the darker pages, page 89 for example, I see it as being really obvious. But I think we've kinda covered it up as well as we can! :D Thanks, we really appreciate that, it's really good that we can do this. Just solves a lot of problems.
